Lions Multiple District 306 Sri Lanka.
Message From International Director

I wish to congratulate MCC Lion P.Jeyarajan and the Multiple District IT Committee for re-launching the updated website of MD 306 with novel features. I would like to make use of this opportunity to highlight important aspects of International President Lion Dr.Wing Kum Tam’s programme.Our IP has set his vision on three special goals driven by his beliefs this year, namely;
* Strengthening and retaining our membership by taking care of fellow members as if they were family.
- * Expanding our service to new heights, propelled by a special campaign to plant one million trees.
- * And nurturing our future by involving more young people and Leos in all that we do.
I believe that these are very appropriate and timely goals identified by our President and we must be committed to make our highest contribution in achieving them.I feel that Sri Lankan lions can excel in propelling special campaign of planting one million trees as our country is rich in natural resources required for this programme.
I am happy that our District Governors have pledged to achieve very high targets compared to rest of the Governors in the world.Further,I earnestly request all our incumbent Governors to pay special attention in developing membership both in quality and quantity.It is high time that we Sri Lankan Lions implement new and timely strategies in improving our membership for which IP suggests to involve youth and Leos in all our lionistic activities.
I believe that all of you lions will enjoy yet another year of lionistic excellence.

Electronic communication is a sinequanon for any modern organization consisting of people and dealing with people. As such I am very pleased to note that you are reviving the MD 306 web site which was not operating during the last few years.
I have no doubt that many Lions of the Multiple District will make use of the MD web site, not only to gather information, but also to communicate with each other. I wish you all success in your endeavor.
